Kids Group Chess Classes

Our Kids Chess Program is divided into two groups, designed to match each child’s skill level and learning pace. Both groups follow a structured curriculum with lessons, tactical exercises, and supervised games.

Groups:

• Stars (Beginner Group – Up to 800 USCF)
  Students focus on piece movement, basic tactics, opening principles, and simple checkmates.
   
• Knight Stars (Intermediate Group – 800–1400 USCF)
  Students dive into strategy, advanced tactics, endgames, and tournament preparation.
   

Schedule:

• Tuesdays: 5:00–6:00 PM Mixed – Stars & Knight Stars
   
• Fridays: 5:00–6:00 PM Mixed – Stars & Knight Stars
   
• Saturdays: 9:45–10:45 AM Stars Focus – Beginner
   
• Sundays: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM Knight Stars Focus – Intermediate ( On tournament weekends, Sunday class times may be adjusted. We’ll post updates on the Events page and notify enrolled students by email.)
   

Pricing:

• $220/month, no contract (includes all scheduled classes) 
• $100 for 1hr a week schedule, no contract

Our goal is to help every child progress from Stars to Knight Stars, building strong chess skills along with focus, problem-solving, and confidence.
