About the head coach

  Arslan is a Fide Master (2410) who has fulfilled the requirements for an International Master status and a former member of Turkmenistan National Team. In 2022 and 2023 he has been named the Connecticut Coach of the Year, while in 2018 he was crowned Connecticut State champion. Arslan is a very experienced coach who understands extremely well how to coach kids, with 19 years of coaching experience as he has won the Under 18 championship in his native country for six consecutive years! Also Arslan is a professional MMA fighter with 17 years fighting experience.
